Eskom Learner Atrisans 12X Positions

Twelve (12) Trainee Radiation Protection Monitor Artisan Learnerships are currently available with Eskom at the Koeberg Power Station in Cape Town, Western Cape. Application to these Learnerships close 30 January 2013.
Required qualification:

• Grade 12.

Skills and competencies:

• Attention to detail
• Code EB drivers license
• Respiratory protection courses prescribed on job training for radiation protection monitor
• Reactor specifics for radiation protection staff or equivalent
• Emergency plan and response applicable to the post
• Radiation protection monitors course
• Source handler course
• Radiation workers training course.

Key responsibilities:

• To perform radiation surveillances
• Enforce personnel access control requirements
• Perform emergency plan activities
• Perform ad hoc activities.
